Logo design, where do I start?

Coming up with a business name and logo to boot is a challenging task. This iterative process takes a lot of trial, error, and refinement. Creativity is not my strong suit but, if you give me a template we are in business.

I went to Google, as everyone does, and searched "free logo maker." As a previous appliance salesperson, the saying "you get what you pay for" does apply to software as well. But, as a startup business with a tiny budget, I needed a logo that looked good, and would not break the bank.

BrandCrowd was one of the companies that popped up in this search result. Surprisingly, it was easy to use and helped get the creative juices flowing.

My goal was to create a logo that was easily recognizable and stood out. With BrandCrowd you are prompted on the first page to enter your business name and then can enter as many or as few details in the prompts that follow about your business.

What I have found most useful is looking at some of the logos finding the ones I like and setting them to my favorite list. Then refine that list and add more details to the search.

What I love about the tool is that it is free to brainstorm and modify essential elements of logos and designs. The only time you are prompted for payment is if you decide on a logo design you love and are ready to download. You get all of the file formats you could possibly need for an extremely low cost.

Before using BrandCrowd, I struggled to develop a flexible logo design that was easy to modify and tweak to meet my clients' needs.

I have designed the logo for my business and multiple clients using BrandCrowd. and decided to sign up as an affiliate because I truly love the software.

I have tried multiple different tools, but BrandCrowd is by far the most accessible and most versatile.
