We Built a Sports Management System in Wix. Yes, Really.

When most people hear "Wix" they think simple. Easy drag and drop. Good for a quick portfolio or a small business homepage. Maybe a restaurant menu if you're feeling ambitious.
That's the Wix of five years ago.
We recently built a full operational platform for a youth sports organization- inside Wix. Not a workaround. Not a hack. A real, functioning system with role-based dashboards for parents, coaches, and board members. Volunteer tracking. Roster management. Field scheduling across multiple locations. Family account portals. Tournament coordination.
The kind of thing people usually pay for with expensive software subscriptions. Built beautifully inside a platform most people write off before they even try it.
So what changed?
Wix did. Quietly and significantly. The platform has evolved into something most designers and business owners haven't caught up with yet. Custom databases, member portals, conditional logic, automations, third-party integrations, advanced booking systems, it's all there if you know how to use it.
And that's the key. The platform isn't the limitation. The builder is.
What does this mean for your business or organization?
It means that whatever operational headache you're managing right now — the spreadsheets, the group texts, the three different apps that don't talk to each other, there's a good chance we can consolidate it into one beautiful, functional system.
A spa replacing an expensive booking platform. A rescue organization managing adoptions and fosters. A car dealership running inventory and inquiry flows. A golf tournament handling registration and live leaderboards. All possible. All in Wix. All owned entirely by you with no monthly software fees eating into your budget.
The bottom line
If you dismissed Wix because of what it used to be, it's time to look again.
